MODIFIED STARCH

General characteristics:
E-1412 is a product of esterification of potato starch/maize starch/Tapioca Starch with sodium trimetaphosphate with a medium degree of cross-linking. When used as a stabilizer, it helps to maintain the physical and chemical properties of the products to which it is added in small amounts, preventing or delaying spontaneous and adverse changes occurring in them. In aqueous solutions, depending on the concentration, it forms thick pastes of variable density, with a very short structure. It reaches its full technological value when heated up to 72°C.

Product use:
It is particularly recommended for: meat products - cured meat, finely-ground cured meat, pâtés, sauces for canned meat and vegetables, salad sauces, dressings, mayonnaise, soups, frozen food, fruit filling for confectionery goods, baby food, yoghurts, and all the aforesaid products with reduced calories (as a substitute for fat).
Packaging: in 25kgs multilayers vented paper bags or 850kgs jumbo bags. Unit packaging must be approved for food contact.
Storage conditions: Dry, clean and well-ventilated facilities without foreign odours, protected against rodents.
Shelf life: When stored in recommended conditions and in original packaging, the product retains its properties for at least 24 months.
